Research

The Education Department is started in the year 2018. This department actively engages in Research and Development (R&D) activities aimed at improving teaching–learning processes, promoting educational innovation, and contributing to national and global educational discourse.

Faculty members of the department are involved in writing research papers which are published in scopus, UGC CARE and peer-reviewed national and international journals, edited volumes, and conference proceedings, contributing to knowledge creation and dissemination.  

In 2024-25 session, three faculty members from School of Education named, Dr. Ankhi Goon, Dr. Debabrata Sarkar, Dr. Md Nawaz Sarif got the seed funds from Adamas University. In 2025-26 faculty members apply to the ICSSR minor and major projects.

School of Education has 9 copyrights and 3 Design patents upto now. School of Education has also signed MoUs and MoAs with different Indian Universities and Foreign Universities.

The department encourages research culture among students through action research, case studies, surveys, and project-based learning. M.A. and B.Ed. trainees undertake research projects, dissertation focusing on classroom practices, learner diversity, assessment strategies, and innovative teaching methods. These projects help to bridge the gap between theory and practice and enhance reflective teaching skills.

Research seminars, workshops, webinars, and faculty development programmes are regularly organized to strengthen research competencies. These platforms facilitate scholarly dialogue, exposure to contemporary research methodologies, and collaboration with academicians, researchers, and institutions. Faculty members also participate in national and international conferences, seminars, and academic forums, presenting research findings and gaining wider perspectives.
