From May 21st to May 27th a week long Faculty Development Program was organized by School of Education on the theme called ‘Innovative Pedagogical Approach in Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning Process.’ All through the five days of the session, the webinar platform was furnished by the charismatic speeches of the resource persons.

The FDP ended with a Panel Discussion with national and international eminent personalities on the theme ‘Interdisciplinary Teaching Learning Approach in Higher Education’ and with a valedictory session on the theme ‘Changing role of the Educators in the new normal.’

School of Education, Adamas University as a pioneering hub of modern education bestows professional as well as general courses to diversified multicultural students from various echelons of the society.

  • A webinar was organized on ‘Personality: Formation and Disruption.’ on 19th and 21st January, 2021. Dr. Tanay Maiti, Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Mental Health Expert and Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, JIMS, Kolkata as a resource person conferred fascinating and marvelous speech on various issues related to personality and the causes of its disturbances.
  • The journey was carried forward by Ms. Mansi Dholakia, CEO, Global Mental Health Association, USA & World Peace Ambassador. On 9th April, 2021, the webinar platform was mesmerized by a stupendous presentation of Ms. Dholakia on ‘Emotional Intelligence for Students Well-being’.
  • School of Education was instrumental in organizing a webinar on ‘Stress Management and Professional Capacity Building for Teachers’ and a beautiful analysis on this theme was provided by the resource person Dr. Shyamasree Sur, HoD, Department of Education, Siddhinath Mahavidyalaya, affiliated to Vidyasagar University.
  • On 10th May the fabulous lecture session on ‘Student Development on Simulation and Micro-teaching’ of Dr. Subhadeep Majumder, Teacher in Charge, Pailan College of Education proved to be a fruitful one especially for the students of B.Ed.
  • On 14th May, 2021 a Workshop on ‘Visual Thinking Strategy’ was organized by School of Education and the resource person was Ms. Pragati Sharma, Founder and CEO, EdMonger Consulting.

A special Lecture Session of Dr. Shyamasree Sur, Head of the Department, Siddhinath Mahavidyalaya was organized for the research scholars on the Theme ‘Quantitative Research Methodology.’ Quantitative research, one of the most important areas of research methodology was explained in details in this session. The Question and Answer session was beneficial for the research scholars of the department.

On 10th May, 2021 to glorify the 160th Birth Anniversary of India’s pride, Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, School of Education has celebrated Rabindra Jayanti through the release of the E-magazine (Rabindra Smaranika) created solely by the students. Students paid their homage to Tagore through their creation of the E-magazine in this new normal situation.

Far Eastern University is a coeducational, non-sectarian, private research university in Manilla, Philippines. The two Universities are exchanging their thoughts, their speakers. Both the Universities are organizing webinars, faculty and student development programs and students and faculties are exchanging their views, their teaching methodologies, curriculum with each other. For the Ph.D seminars and viva, external evaluators and resource persons are invited from this esteem Foreign University. Student exchange program will also be done once the pandemic is over. Teaching Students of FEU by faculties of Adamas University and vice versa in online mode is also a mission of both the Universities. Sharing Deans/Directors/Senior Professors of board of studies of both universities is another vision of both the Universities.
